Week 12 material was illustrated and presented clearly. I would say that steps one and two, planning and analysis, are the most important steps of the system development cycle. Identifying the problem is key. Next, is understanding the problem and how it interrelates with your system.
Development and analysis of your plan is crucial for success. These first two steps are the foundation for system development. The analysis step has to be a logical design so that the “big picture” is not missed. You have to have a full understanding of the “big picture” and a solid approach towards completion. Design, implementation, operation, support, and security complete the system development cycle.
