Week 10 became clearer as the lesson went on. Communications and networks are all around us in our home and professional lives. I was able to relate to the different communications devices as well as the variety of services and speeds available. I also use networks at my work. I work for a large company which relies on communication networks and servers for day to day business. I do see how difficult it is for an organization to weed out specific web sites to prevent unauthorized browsing. Some websites automatically bring up a page that says that the site is unauthorized and to contact an administrator for further assistance. There are loads of information on the web and it is impossible to weed out the bad informatio from the good.
The Excel project is behind me, although I continue to use Excel at home and work. I have been experimenting with several of Excel's tools. I am also able to go in and see formulated fields within Excel spreadsheets when I need more information as to how those numbers were derived. A truly helpful little program!
