Week 3:Clear

This is my third post on this blog, and it is fairly clear what I did wrong on the first couple of posts. They were not long enough. I guess I misread the blog instructions. I thought I had read two or three sentences as opposed to two or three paragraphs.
The lectures that I have been going over this past week have also been pretty clear. I am fairly familiar with the hardware of computers. There are some "tech terms" that I was unfamiliar with such as:
*Legacy port is basically an old fashioned style port. That's a new one on me.
*Form factor which refers to the size of the system
*Storage spindles refers to the number of devices that can be installed "at the same time."

Being around computers and working on them here and there has given me a pretty good background for this class. So far, I can see that my computer knowledge will become more rounded. The textbook is fairly easy to read. I also find the lectures interesting. The lectures are also not too long. They seem to be the right length to keep my interest.
